My name is Nilla, abreviated from the Swedish name Pernilla, which means ‘rock’ or ‘stone’. Now, you might wonder, did I misspell Nila Creative? No, it was done very deliberetaly.

Take one letter away from my name and you have Nila, a name with slightly different meaning depending on which culture or language you ask. In Sanskrit, Nila means blue. But were you to ask the Irish, they’d translate it to champion. Some indian cultures would say it symbolizes peace. Words I don’t mind describing my brand identity.

Now, I happen to also share one of the many names of the stars on our sky. My heritage happen to come from both the Northern Europe and Southeast of Asia.
My Thai name is Doangdau, which translates to just that; star.

Therefore, if you haven’t already figured it out, my full name translates to Rock Star.

And just like any other rockstar, my journey in life has been nothing but ordinary. I grew up balancing two worlds and two cultures, learning early on that stories are what connect us all. I trained as a journalist, which taught me how to listen deeply, find truth, and shape narratives that resonate. At the same time, my background in dance gave me something just as important:
an instinct for rhythm, emotion, and movement — all the unspoken things that make creativity come alive.

In the end, my name and Nila hold many meanings — just like any story does when told from different perspectives. Nila Creative is where those perspectives meet. It’s not just about visuals or words; it’s about translating feelings, experiences, and visions into something you can see and feel.
